About the Author

Adele Liles has been a high school English teacher for 26 years, providing her constant inspiration for writing young adult fiction. Her debut YA novel, Among the Whisperings, released from Wild Ink Publishing in 2025 and her sophomore YA novel Eliminated releases from Wild Ink in the summer of 2026. She has been a finalist in the Writer’s Workout Fiction Potluck contest and her poetry and short fiction has been published in several anthologies. She lives with her husband and cats in Virginia, where she can be found working on her next YA contemporary novel or watching a ridiculous amount of reality TV.
